"I am getting, with the car’s most recent software version 2.1.0, the same results as I was getting with the previous version 2.0.0 as reported earlier.
There’s quite a stable connection via Enode and just in some cases of bad LTE reception the reception sign indicator turns from all solid green to hollow red occasionally. This just remains that way for a couple of seconds only.
The SOC indicated on the Apple CarPlay screen and in the app follows the dropping SOC indication in the car while driving, however there is a slight delay of about a minute or a half if SOC changed by a digit - I think this is just related to the fact that the Enode server needs to provide information to the app after receiving it from the car in the first place.
Same goes for the odometer which just takes a little time to get adjusted while driving.
What I’m still missing is the battery temperature indication, which is very useful when approaching a high-performance charger to get the battery temperature to an appropriate level.
However, the connection itself and regarding indicating the values all works well within a very much acceptable range.
On another note it is quite annoying that the Enode connection seems to occupy the BYD car´s app access to the car.
So when having established the connection from the app to Enode the BYD car app tells me every time I start it, that somebody else or another device has locked in.
This means that every time I have to login with my password and override the warning above.
I don’t know what to do with this (I already have erased the BYD app from my iPhone and reinstalled it a little later, as well I have changed the passport multiple times) - maybe you have an idea?
I think that’s it for an early Saturday morning and I would be very happy if you would let me keep the connection as this and maybe check if the battery temperature can be indicated and get rid of the meaningless power indication, as mentioned above.
Too in the app on the mobile I do not need the SOC and odometer indication, the location and the range which all can be erased from my point of view to get a more streamlined look of the app´s screen with just indicating battery temp and calibrated reference consumption (which will suit smaller screens like the iPhone 13 mini as well) - however that is just my personal preference."
Gerne höre ich, was ihr dazu meint.
